Concordia’s Sustainability Case Competition is back for it’s 2nd edition!! For 2 years now we offer the opportunity for Concordia students to present their solution to a crisis related to sustainability. With the success of previous years, we are happy to announce you that this year we are going to make it BIGGER and BETTER by opening it to every University in Montreal!!
Let’s talk about the good stuff. This year we were able to obtain a time related problematic from a Montreal based organization! This means that as a participant, you have the chance to put your knowledge into practice and propose a solution that will help this local organization, and who knows, you might see your own ideas implemented on the market…
The Case Competition with take place at the John Molson building located at 1450 Rue Guy, Montréal, QC H3H 1J5, on November 17th at 8am. Each team will be composed of 4-5 members, any team with less than 4 members will have another participant assigned to them. Each team will have 3 hours without access to internet to read the case, build their solution and prepare a PowerPoint presentation. Teams will then have 25 minutes to present their solution followed by a 5 minutes Q&A.
We will have 4 rooms of presentation with each of them 3 judges to evaluate the presentation. After each team has presented in their respective room, one team will be chosen to pass over the second round of judgment, so in total we will have 4 teams chosen to present in the finals. One judge will also be chosen from each panel to create the final panel of judges. From there, the 4 finalists will present in an auditorium where the presentations will be open to participants and public. This will be the final presentation and from there, 3 winners will be chosen by the judges.
